This is the Outdoor Model SS30 (Stairway Special) in Brown. The standard hardware on this gate is stainless steel! The Stairway Special Gate (Model SS30) is our maximum safety gate designed for the top of a stairway-- its great for all areas! Features include a latch system that baffles toddlers yet allows one hand operation for adults, and an optional stop bracket prevents opening over a stairway for greater safety. The Stairway Special will mount at angles up to 30 degrees allowing location of a stud when mounting on drywall.

Gate Dimensions: Gate width is adjustable 27 42 Â½, Height 29 Â½, Bar Spacing 2 Â½. 10 Â½ extension (Model BX1) is available for openings 42 Â½ to 53. 21 Â¾ extension (Model BX2) is available for openings 42 Â½ to 64.

Please Note: The outside of the box shows a black gate (but the lettering is brown and it has its own UPC code).
